Blu3lock will stop code 9 from taking over socom. It will boot anyone in the room using code 9. Check it out.
Facts:
1. Everyone must have blu3Lock to join a BL room.
2. BL users CAN set their own password on rooms so other BL user can't join. (Example: Scroll to the end of the encrypted pw and type 123 for unique password.)
3. BL users CAN take off the feature of "protection" in order to join a normal game.
4. Anyone in a Bluelock room that tries to turn on codes will instantly freeze.
Q & A
Q: Will BL come out for any other Socoms?
A: Socom 1, no. Socom CA is extremely iffy, Socom 3, no.
Q: Where can I download this?
A: When it is released I will most likely be posting it on TheGameHabit.
Q: How will this affect GB?
A: There will more than likely be a BL ladder for Socom 2, the normal ladder will remain. If this doesn't happen then GB users can easily just say you must have BL on to play.
Q: How do I boot up blu3lock?
A: Blu3lock is in elf form therefore there will be various ways to boot it up. For fat ps2 users you need to use the 'Independent Exploit'. For ps2slim users there are two ways too boot it up but for now the easiest will be to use a program called 'SwapMagic'.
Q: What about ps3 users?
A: There is a way to boot it up but it is very risky and requires you to void your ps3's warranty. If you don't mind then click here. Once we release blu3lock I will post an ISO image ready to burn for ps3 and ps2 slim.
Q: What about war rooms can any BL user just join the room with the password?
A: When you're making the room just scroll to the end of the BL encrypted password and type 123 or whatever you want for a unique password. This will allowed for BL only and only those players allowed in the war room.
Q: What exactly stops cheaters/non BL users from joining the room?
A: BL has a default encrypted password that is pasted in the text box when you create/ join the game. The characters can't be typed by anyone else therefore no one else can join.
Q: Why would a cheater want to turn on BL just so he can get booted?
A: That is not what we are getting at. If every legit player is in a general BL room that is protected cheaters cannot join. If they wanted to join they would need to turn on BL. If they turn on BL and try and cheat they will freeze so it all works out.
Q: What if people tried modifying their discs?
A: Blu3lock will also freeze them.
Q: Can you still join normal rooms?
A: Yes but you will not be protected from cheaters joining as they will not have BL on. The only way to be protected fully is to be in BL only rooms.
