an old story i read a while back... a young man around 20 had everquest on pc. used to play it like it was crack. all the time. played it so much he would lose multiple jobs. parents tried to take his keyboard and other parts. he would find ways to get new parts. eventually they sold his pc and he had to get a job and made enough money to get his own apartment and a new pc. quit going to his job chained up his door so his parents would quit bothering him. one night a good friend he played with on everquest scammed him and stole all his money. he was so upset he killed himself. after nobody hearing from him for a while. his parents broke into his apartment and found him dead at his pc. so my question is this: is this a mental disorder or are games so addicting they can cause you to do this shit?
