Sony continues to release a steady flow of Midway arcade classics over the PLAYSTATION Store.This week's new downloadable title is Rampage: World Tour. Unfortunately,that's about it for this week. The only other thing is a video of the next Midway arcade release, Joust. Joy. Sony has also temporarily lowered the price on flow. For a limited time, you can download one of the best PSN titles out there for only $4.99 (normally $7.99).

Not much this time around, it's really a shame Sony didn't load up a bunch of the HD trailers from Gamer's Day. I'd LOVE to see the Uncharted trailer on my big screen.

The Playstation Store seems to be on a mind-numbing sprint through the bargain bin of old classics, however this recent entry might struggle with even that very definition. Championship Sprint was an arcade treat (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7312) in its heyday, but without the acrid smell of burnt pizza cheese permeating the air and the ching-ching-ching of tokens being dispensed nearby, we're not sure reliving this classic on the PS3 is going to evoke the same sense of guilty pleasure we once experienced. Pray tell, why exactly would anyone care to relive this classic without standing at the machine itself with a vice-like grip on the steering wheel (sans Force Feedback, we might add)? There is plenty of ripe fruit in the Sony catalog, so where are the classic gems from the lucrative and expansive PlayStation gallery? How many times can we ask for Twisted Metal? How aboutm Socom? Honestly, lets skip the brussel sprouts and head right for the ice cream (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3dlgames&thread.id=21287).

For interested parties, Championship Sprint hits the PlayStation Store for $4.99. We suppose it's better than nothing, but not by much.

Jem, and the rest of our European friends, have been able to play Go! Puzzle for the past two weeks. Now, America gets to join in on the puzzling fun. This collection of puzzle games may not demonstrate the power of the PS3, but at least it's playable, unlike last weeks disappointing Store update.

The collection includes three games, Swizzle Blocks, Aquatica, and Skyscraper. The "Starter Pack" is free and allows players to try three minute demos of each of these games. Full versions of each the games cost $2.99 each, or $5.99 for the entire collection.

After a pretty killer week for boxed game releases, the PSN is also doing its part to beef up the PlayStation argument. This week we have a game, a demo, a major trailer and some other accompanying fancies. No PS1 games, though. They've all been funneled into the Japanese PSN store. Not that we mind. We've got more than enough to keep us busy. Super Stardust HD is one of those games that popped up a couple of weeks ago yelling "I'm going to be amazing. Buy me." Savage Moon finally makes an appearance on the American PSN Store this week alongside a smattering of other tasty offerings. Europe wins the PSN war this week with its Killzone 2 demo and other assorted full games. Your guess is as good as mine as to how today's major PSN release, Noby Noby Boy plays. Heck, even it's creator -- Katamari Damacy's Keita Takahashi -- doesn't know why he made it. But, given its pedigree and $4.99 pricetag, I'm sure someone will go for it.

Today's PSN update is sadly lacking in full games, but there's plenty of DLC to keep you busy. The American PSN update today isn't quite as interesting as the European one, but it's still got an okay amount of content. Punisher: No Mercy has been released, alongside the latest episode of Qore and the normal amount of DLC. There's too much violence in this week's PSN Thursday, so we've nerfed where necessary. For example, in the above image: that's Spider-Man giving Ryu a knuckle kiss, while Wolverine does an airplane impression and Iron Man practices The Supremes' "Stop in the Name of Love." Oh, my! Although the release of Turtles in Time and Silent Hill on PSN this week is certainly noteworthy, it's the appearance of George Takei in PAIN that takes the cake. The original Star Trek star will be at your disposal to shoot from a canon and ... seriously, why would you want to hurt George Takei? He's awesome!
