As you guys know I am going through tattoo laser removal in order to become a Marine. Today, I had my first laser treatment. In all seriousness it is the worst burning feeling I have ever experienced. It really makes you question how bad you want to do something and if youre willing to go through the required amount of treatments. Holy fuck. Finished about 1:30pm est... It's 4pm est now and it feels the same as when I left the place. lol I'll post pictures here in a few weeks to update the fading status of the tattoo. $400 cash today to burn myself basically. lol And for those of you who dont know, its my tribal im having removed. The neck part and half my shoulder. No tats can be seen in uniform.

He was most likely already a Marine when the policy was changed. I tried to get a waiver for mine and it just wasn't acceptable. They are being a lot more picky now since their yearly quota is being easily exceeded. They can afford to limit who they let in.

Thanks broskii. Also, I'd like to say, not liking a tattoo is not a good enough reason to go through removal. lol If you guys know anyone considering it because they dont like their tat anymore, tell them fuck no. haha

Since last night, the area that was treated has developed large almond sized blisters. The slightest touch pops them open and the trick is to not burst them. Not sure how that's possible. Either way it looks nasty as fuck. haha

Theres no way to know. You kinda just hope for the best and go til it's gone. But, I was told, atleast 6 for mine. Since black is the easiest to remove I'm in the "ideal" situation as long as I take care of it on my end.

Today is the first day that I no longer feel the burning on my tattoo. The skin blisters are subsiding with the use of burn and cut ointment. Should be healed up in another week or so and the fading should begin shortly after.

Today, the treated area has extreme itchiness. lol. Reminds me of poison ivy. And they obviously inform you not to scratch at it. haha.
This is what it looks like now...

damn, it looks like you're gonna have to do that MANY MANY times to get it to go away, that really sucks dude.....i saw a thing on TV about that, something like they shoot lasers into your skin to break up the ink in it and over time it finally becomes almost not visible
i bet that hurts....looks like they light you up, they are effectively buring your skin every single time it goes off right?

Exactly... the lasers break the ink up and over the next few weeks the blood stream will carry out some of the ink.. thats what causes the fading effect... so right now it jus looks a mess... but ina few weeks we will see some improvement
and yes , every time that laser is on and pointed at your skin.. it is burning the 3rd layer of your skin where the ink sits... i had scar tissue splashing out and landing all over the woman doing it to me

As I'm posting this, it's been a day short of a full week and it is almost healed completely.. More fading to come soon... Hard to tell from my pics, but it has faded a lot and there are inch wide holes that are gone
