A lucky few individuals will discover this invite for the MAG beta in their inboxes. The e-mail includes a unique code used to access a closed application form. According to the beta enrollment page, Sony "will be adding people in waves." If you don't see an invite in your inbox right now, don't worry: you may be invited later. "If you do not receive an invite for the first wave you may still be invited in a following MAG Public Beta wave."

Sony has already conducted a closed beta for MAG for over a month. The expansion of the beta to the public gives us hope that maybe -- just maybe -- we'll be able to see MAG's 256-player online battles hitting the PS3 sooner rather than later.

You post "lot of shit to share. parachuting out of planes and shit". Well share something! What do you like? How is the lag? How many people are you playing against? Does it feel like a 1st person Socom? Give some details man!

absolutely love this game born will post review after work

okay heres some info

mag is pretty smooth already. there are 2 platoons of 32 players broken up into 8 man squads. havent seen 256 yet. u choose in ur registration email which faction u want. there are alot of skills u can purchase with points u earn from getting Xp. It def feels 1st person socom to me. you can play 3 game modes,acquisition , suppression and sabotage. u can parachute out of airplanes into their spawn on the one map its funny as hell. lots of familiar weapons and sum unknown stuff but there are 50 cal rifles, f90s, m4a1. and u buy attachments for them and perks aswell. there are 40 ranks so far.

Overall I like it and i was hatin on it before. It does show alot of promise tho.
