By now, you must have heard about MAG -- an ambitious 256-player online shooter. What's this Shadow War we keep hearing of? Luckily, this developer video diary (posted above) gives us a look into the storyline of MAG and its fictional Shadow War backdrop and answers all those questions.

We get a closer look at the maps, weapons and characters seen in the game, while Zipper details the various PMC groups vying for power in the Shadow War. The clip also shows off some all-new gameplay footage, so make sure you don't miss it.

Its been confirmed as a 1st person shooter for about 5 months. The player movement reminds me alot of Socom. The whole "Shadow War" thing also is refreshing. Its gonna be a very different shooter. I just cant wait for the beta.

I dont look at that new stuff unless its on here.. guess thats why I didnt know. The concept is intriguing, the first person is a heart breaker. Cant have my pussy and eat it too i guess.

Looks great,between this and Modern 2 might just pull me back into video games.I was never a fan of the 1st person shooter (Socom roots),but really all the games that people have grown to love seem to be.I am over not giving a game a chance cause of the style of play,I just want a game that will start up these oversized,overpriced and no paper under them systems that are sitting in my living room(And to save Zipper's ReP).I think there putting alot of time into the 2 games that might save my video game void I like the idea of MaG,and of course Modern that speaks for itself.Not rushing summer by any means,but can't wait till fall.....Football,Video games,Football..Nuff said...:reddot:

FPS = pass...had enough of that shit on the N64 with goldeneye...now its just ran into the ground beyond belief with no innovation and nothing new ever...its all been done, its the same shit different day...death to FPS
