hope theres some Biggie fans here. This looks sick,
Notorious is the working title for a 2009 biographical film about rapper Notorious B.I.G.. Originally Antoine Fuqua was set to direct, but now director George Tillman, Jr. is set to helm the project. The film is being distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures. Producers on Notorious include Sean "Diddy" Combs, Voletta Wallace and Biggie's former managers Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts.
In early October 2007 open casting calls for the role of The Notorious B.I.G. began. Actors, rappers and unknowns all tried out. Rapper Beanie Sigel auditioned for the role but was not picked. Sean Kingston claimed that he would play the role of Biggie but producers have denied he would be in the film. The cast has recently been announced with rapper Jamal "Gravy" Woolard cast as Biggie. Other cast members include Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean Combs, Anwan Glover as Snoop Doggy Dogg, Antonique Smith as Faith Evans, Naturi Naughton formely of 3LW as Lil' Kim, Edwin Freeman as Mister Cee and Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur.

hows it 10 years late?
M.TYSON
09-25-2008, 03:28 PM
cause biggie died about 10 years ago. noob should have been made along time ago and puff should have nothing to do with this movie cause hes a fuckin bitch. he refused to help the cops with the investigation. how could u do that to your boy??. he used biggie as a money source and thats all. but i still wanna see it regardless i guess

thats the dumbest thing ever. There still making ww2 movies that happened 60 some years ago. So i guess there 60 years late on making those. So i guess every movie that takes place a few years back in the past is "to late" lol. But i agree with the whole Puff thing being dumb and using Biggie for the money. Thats all Puffs ever been good for anyways,.

nah ww2 is a whole different topic. but many people would have liked to see this dont a long time ago

i like how he compared war history of america to overhyped above average rappers made into legends due to their epic beef that pac started and confirmed was all for the money...
M.TYSON
09-26-2008, 05:36 AM
so biggie was an overhyped above average rapper? youre losing your fuckind mind danny boy. real hip hop legend. what were u like 10 when biggie came out?

i have every biggie and tupac cd.. im a fan... but
both were overhyped because of the east vs west shit.. you cant argue that the east vs west didnt give them more popularity...
M.TYSON
09-26-2008, 05:43 AM
didnt cause ready to die was out waaaaayyy before their beef. and biggie was hot then. then beef did escelate it but didnt make biggie or pac. like i said youre on crack if u think biggie was overhyped.. wasnt the king of NY for nothing

09-26-2008, 05:49 AM
do u seriously think east vs west didnt cause more people to listen to them? wtf
that shit was everywhere back then.. tv.. papers..magazines... it def. cause other rap fans who may not of listened to either of them to take more notice... back then everyone had a side.. east or west.. those who didnt even listen to either of them started listening... both might have been big before it.. but it def. added to their success and popularity
M.TYSON
09-26-2008, 06:23 AM
i had biggies first cd when it first came out and it was waay before the beef. and shit was bangin all over ny. biggies second cd didnt come out til after he was killed. if anything the beef made pac more famous. idk maybe you were too young or something, maybe u were listenin to bone thugs and harmony..whatever. but big was hott before that beef and ready to die was #1 at that time

u said he was overhyped. how can he be overhyped when he was hot before the beef?. The person who benifited the most from the beef was pac. werent u like 9 when biggies album came out?..lmao 15 years ago. ur opinion doesnt really count..lolol

Don't make me bring out the wanna be shit, cuz thats exactly how your acting right now. Stealing lyrics, who DOESN'T do that these days! Shows what kinda fake ass homo you are by saying Bone Thugs is your favorite artists, we used to piss on a nigga if he came out with that shit! Don't admit that shit, thats that fake shit. You were 6 years old, knowing the difference between all this different kinda music? You're lying! Tyson, don't even waste your time with this bum, he's far from knowing what he's talking about.
By the way you wrote everything, seems like you caught some feelings. So, if you took this like I'm tryna start some beef, I'm NOT, just responding to what you wrote and went by how you wrote yours!

obviously i never tried to start beef you both took what i said before the wrong way for some reason when i typed it clear... my point was biggie and pac both had added popularity and success because of their beef.. and like i already said.. I FUCKING KNOW biggie was "big" before it.. but any time controversy between artists happen their popularity increases and their money goes ^ dont call me a fucking wanna be or anything like that... i never claimed bonethugs as my favorite... and i never said i listened to all those artists at such an early age.. i did know the difference in music... and i did not research their names... if u look at any forum i post in i always put the same people up for who i think is top 10.. im not talking shit but you are both fucking idiots IF and only IF you think its not possible for me to listen to these rappers because they were out so long ago

alright, leave it as this, we all have different opinions/taste on music. Shit is normal, no need to get personal and all outta control and shit. I do still disagree with you about him having the "beef" with west coast leading to him being as "big" as he is. He would have been the same without all that bullshit. We have our personal opinions/taste, leave it at that. I like LiL Wayne, you don't, you like Bone Thugs, I don't! Me and the crew I hung wit, used to hate them. Just how we felt!
I'm not as big into music as I used to be, I actually am more of a slow jam man. But one of my favorite, this day in age, is LiL wayne, now ol' skool, Too MANY to list!
