Its gonna only get better. Every game has connection issues at release. This isnt the release its the beta, the issues will get fixed. The clan options are bitchen. The customization is awsome. The controls are a little different than any socom before, but after 10hrs of playing today I feel as comfortable as I do playing Socom 2. The guns are all pretty good. The large crossroads is cool. The only gripe I have is not having a one button nade throw. And the under hand toss is gay! No more fragg fests, which is a good thing. But I would like a more comfortable way to throw a nade. Over all cant wait till Oct.14th, and Ill be owning ya on the beta till then and after. Holla at the WORMZ!!!!!!!!!!

1. ya the game needs to be sped up for sure...it is extremely slow and sluggish, this is like a socom for the dumb and elderly....i have no armor on and a SMG and STILL it feels like im turning a damn tank...this needs to be addressed.

2.the game is to dark even during the day there are places where its just way to dark and needs to be fixed, the armory lag and all the issues like that im sure will be fixed anyways, a lot of the mic qualities are horrible even if the person has a bluetooth or usb so idk about that

3. If i am in a RESPAWN room i should have infinite ammo period. and my god atleast an option of double ammo for real games or respawn games. im sure this is just something left out of the beta tho so im sure it will be ok.

4. What is up with it taking 5 minutes to change the clip in your gun? since when are NAVY SEALs scrubs and cant use weapons? kinds seems like a slap in the face to me. reguardless its way to slow and really ruins gunfights...as well as if u move a bad way press fire or jump on anything u STOP reloading...ya good call i would def stop reloading in RL....seriously RELOAD TIME IS WAY TO LONG it needs shortened and once you reload it should go all the way though until your rdy to fire again it should not stop and cancel

5. What did they do to the scopes?? they have completely ruined the High Scope and most all of the scopes but the 12x which is trash and the stright line -^- crap. This definitely should be change back to a CROSSHAIR like + like it was in every socom and should be in this game as well. The straight line scopes are trash. CANNOT stress enough how CRAPPY THE SCOPES ARE!!!!

6. getting hit with a m87 or any sniper rifle for that matter wont drop people...and that paired with the crappy scope selection they havnt just taking quicksniping out of the equasion...they have made sniping entirely worthless i can do the same stuff with my automatic M14 on single shot or use any other assault rifle with a scope or just accuracy and get the same thing as from a sniper rifle....good call /6 LMAO wow i dont even know what to say except why the hell did u even put sniper rifles in this game if its gonna be like that? just take them out if u hate sniping so much cuz u already killed it.

7. classic view isnt 3rd person its ots moved over LOL back up the camera like a real socom game it needs to be moved back away from the character...it is way way to close....this is some that needs to be changed also even make it so you can see their entire body even feet would be nice when its fully zoomed out

8. While you can customize your character (very very nice job on that part of the game!!!) it would be nice to be able to spin your guy and see his look all around.....You cant customize your controls...i want to change my rate of fire to select button like other socoms...no luck..whats up with that? and i want to lean with the D-Pad...i can appreciate the innovation with the six axis but its not my style and i want to use the D-Pad to lean...because i cannot its a feature that i dont use at all so it might as well not even be in my game.

9. Proximity Mic are about as dumb as it gets...i have not met 1 real socom player yet that has said this wasnt a horrible feature that should be removed..this is so stupid and pointless im not trying to play halo or COD im trying to play socom and many many other people as well as myself hate this dumb feature. (furthermore...because people dont want to give up their position or have other people hear them our conversations while playing have all but died and its really hurting the socom experience and how fun it really is....this is a bad bad bad addition and is really taking away from the game!) + i dont need the people at my house or around my TV hearing the kind of shit that comes out of peoples mouths on the game....grow a brain and take the feature out like many of us have been saying since day 1.

10. Grenade Throwing is horrible...and if you move the slightest bit you dont throw it at all its a waste...what is going on with that? the mechanics need to be fixed or something cuz the slightest thing will throw off your nade to the point it doesnt even throw kinda like happens with reloading. (i love the fact that they dont go far i hate ppl who use nades all the time and never a gun but when u try to throw a nade it should throw)

11. When i hit triangle to have my guy crouch/prone the feature sucks and doesnt work well at all..also if im running around and have crouch selected when i stop moving...um i should crouch? (after checking into this further i discovered some people have this problem some people do not....a bug maybe?) after looking into this more i discovered if the sixaxis is moved at all the crouch feature is useless and wont work...thats what it was. Kinda sucks but i dont like the sixaxis stuff so i just turned it off..would be GREAT if i could lean with then D Pad now!)

12. I dont know if its a bug or what.....but i change my pistol to my quick 2 every 20 seconds and when i need to pull my pistol out what happens? i pull out my damn nades? WTF!!!

13. NO Keyboard in lobby? whats up with that...just like every other socom u got the mic whores who never shut up so you cannot get an word in about anything and the annoying ppl in game...we need keyboards in all lobbys and briefing rooms as well as the ability to mute people especially teammates.....i figure this WILL be added in the final version but i still wanted to say

14. Pistols are very weak...the DE .50 is like a pea shooter....it takes like 5-6 shots to kill somone...wow are u kidding me? how bout 2 shots or something its ok for pistols be atleast decent i mean you are going against assult rifles and stuff so they need to be beefed up a bit.

15. Im sure not ALL of the beta testers sucked and im not saying they all did by any means but maybe in the future you should care more and not have it an ASS KISSING CONTEST!!!!! or war of the suck ups maybe this kind of stuff wouldnt happen as much! i knew that was fail from that start. the fact that some of these problems werent found and addressed during closed beta is scary and pitiful....what did u do just play the game for fun the whole time? ya i figured. i think its great that you wanted to and did include the community as part of that process but i think we all see how bad of a job you guys did on that end....sorry but im just being honest.

the graphics are amazing i dont even know what else to say about that, the game is definitely fun....i can feel a lot of other games, but i can also feel alot of SOCOM so good job i guess....the armor is trash it makes my guy slower and sluggier than when i dont wear any and thats bad enough so i dont guess that a major prob like i thought it would be (now that the lag is clearing up and im seeing it more and more...people with heavy armor are way to hard to kill...if your going to hide and camp with heavy armor that is entirely to cheap and overpowered...heavy armor needs to be taken down a bit!)....knifing isnt really annoying cuz its there but ive only been knifed once cuz i wasnt used to controls yet so i dont think it will be a very big issue either but im not sure yet....so GJ on that stuff atleast

overall the game is good and i really do like it and i will be buying it i think....but i really hope these features are addressed...especially sniping...you SHOULD NOT be able to jump and scope but as far as zooming in fast with a .50 and killing me is cool i would rather have to worry about that then making sniping a worthless and not used part of the game like you have

*end note* i know this is beta and things could change which i hope they do....but reguardless i want them to know these are concerns of a customer and hardcore socom fan since s1, if your going to fix it then good...tell me what things are going to be fixed and make my day...if not then you know these are concerns of the fans...(i have talked with many ppl that agree with me on all points)

To me its just another shooter. No innovation at all nothing that has not been seen or done before. With the amount of shooters that are coming out these days each new shooter needs some type of innovation but I don't see any here. Just a standard shooter.

i agree with u on the innovation ice but not the fact that they are close.. this was one of the reasons i bought a ps3 to begin with. if i wantd to play s3/ca i would have kept my ps2. they arent even close. some of you make like it, lot of u that do also liked and played s3/ca too. just because its a socom game doesnt means its good. the controls arent what they need to be. with my look speed all the way up it still turns slow and the sprinting on there is terrible.

thats the fanboy in you speaking, but like i said before this isnt what "diehard" s2 players wanted.. gameplay is nowhere near it. its just like s3/ca which i bet you probably liked. and to release a supposed beta with this many problems a month before release makes no sense. its not a beta its an online demo. what we see now is what we get. u think they are gonna change everything thats wrong in a month? scoreboard is fucked up too. how about tracking what room my friends are in?. how about chat in the lobby? no? dont need that right? cmon its a half asses game right now and stop denying it. when the full game comes out then we will see where its at and ill give that a shot too. that wont be til atleast xmas or 09 watch

this game play is nothing like s3/ca... its more like s2 just a bit slower..which let me remind some of us.. can be picked up before release... not hard..

and look speeds havent changed while playing... if urs is all the way up like mine.. its the same as havin it all the way up on s2/3/and ca..

the main thing i like about this tho is that gun fights actually take some skill.. u HAVE to aim or u wont get the kill most of the time.. which is good..

i also like that i can change what my seal or merc looks like... i like how grenades move in this one.. you dont have an arm like john elway from s3...lol but ur also not throwing like peter parker before he became spiderman..lol
