NFL Predictions

Here it is... the place for you to predict how you feel the NFL SEASON will unfold so hopefully we can look back at what we say and realize.. we were wrong..lol

My prediction:

NFC EAST Will play out like this:

Dallas Cowboys should win this division... no im not being biased
Philadelphia Eagles should be next beating out washington for a wildcard spot
Washington Redskins will run all over their opponents and make a strong push for a wildcard spot
NY GIANTS will fall off and possibly have a .500 record..

Now explanation time...

on paper, the dallas cowboys have one of the most talented rosters in the league, thus the reason many "experts" are saying that anything less than a superbowl victory is to be considered failure...

the philadelphia eagles although i HATE HATE FUCKIN HATE to admit.. will be significantly better with what seems to me a sudden emergence in mcnabbs confidence level... the whole team use to play with a chip on their shoulder and that was part of their success and i think they will get back to those ways...

the washington redskins i feel have one of the best running games in the league and have def. shown me enough to have me think they will atleast compete with the eagles for a wildcard spot in the playoffs...

the ny giants i think will fall off as does every NFC Superbowl team the following year... plus im not sold on Eli manning. maybe its because he constantly looks like hes staring at the sun...

i never make accurate AFC predictions but to throw somthin out there... can we say

Colts vs Cowboys in the superbowl... in a back to back to back brothers in the superbowl trifecta

The patroits also had good ''paper skills'' but look what happend...Romo is a beast but also a choke artist...when u have a team that goes 18-0 and loses there final game(patroits),has come to show that what's on ''paper'' means notta.You gotta produce no matter what you are left 2 work with."Buying" a championship is no longer a option in my opinion.Hopefully they do well they got the squad but I don't go off paper anymore

i know "on paper" means nothing... but how can u call romo a choke artist when hes only started one whole season and went 13-3... not too bad.. i think its the perception of him the media gives off.. bein the dallas cowboys QB hes been swallowed up by the tabloids and they have exhausted the idea of romo as a "hollywood" qb so much that it makes him seem like hes been starting longer than he really has...

AFC Championship game... rematch much? Patiots vs Colts

NFC Championship game... in the "shocked we made it here" game: Vikings Vs Cowboys...

i know these might be far off.. but hey.. thats why they are predictions...

i also look for the jets to fall short of the playoffs by a game or 2... with about a .500 record at best 9-7...(look at their schedule)

browns should be a solid team but dont look for them to repeat or improve on their 10-6 from a year ago..

AFC East: Patriots (13-3)
All depends on if Brady will be healthy or not. If his foot leaves him out for an extended period of time, they get the Wild Card.. if not.. Patriots win the East.. Their schedule shows yet another relatively easy season with MAJOR threats comming from Indy, San Diego, Pittsburgh, and maybe the jets with their upgraded QB and MAJOR spending in the offseason..

AFC North: Browns (11-5 or 12-4)
Lets face it, the browns were a surprise last season. I do not think that anybody predicted them going to have as good of a year as they did. Anderson stepped up, Edwards was huge, Winslow will be a threat again, they added Stallworth and Rogers (DE).. They do have a tougher schedule this year, but fortunately they get Dallas, Pitts, and the giants at home in the first 6 weeks. They will either be 2-2 going into their bye week or go into it at 4-0. HUGE first game, against the cowboys (at home).

AFC South: Jacksonville (11-5)
Wow, this division has TOO many variables to predict which team is going to win it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Manning gets hurt by the 8th week and is out either 4 games or the season. The other stars in Indy (Harrison, Freeney, and Sanders) will all be fighting injuries all season long, and if the injuries mount up or if Manning gets injured bad, Indy will probably not make the playoffs and leave Dungee wondering if he should come back again or walk away. This opens the doors for any of the other teams in the South. Houston has finally had a .500 record or better in the franchise's history last year and the Titans are starting to look more organized now that Vince Young is settled into the league. But I am going to give the nod to the Jaguars with taylor/mjd to pound teams, girrard to manage the game if needed (dude only had like 5 ints or something crazy like that last year), and their D will hold..

AFC West: Chargers (12-4)
LT doesn't have his back-up anymore.. but thats ok... The broncos are having HUGE personel issues right now, the chiefs are only going to be starting to get an identity as to what kind of a team they are (LJ will not be the force he was 2 years ago) and the raiders... the raiders overpaid BIG TIME on the players they signed (walker, hall, etc.) and I would not be surprised if they turn into the Falcons of last season.. the only perks that the raiders have, is mcfadden.. and he isn't going to do it all. The raiders do have the weapons to make a statement, but issues internally will implode this team this year..

Wild Cards: Jets and Titans or Colts (10-6)
The steelers have too tough of a schedule this year to make the playoffs.. Miami, buffalo, Cincy, denver, baltimore, houston, KC, and oakland.. better luck next year..



and I will say the CHARGERS will represent the AFC this year in the superbowl..
