Cowboys >

who will have the better season tyson.. cowboys or jets?

M.TYSON
08-07-2008, 03:16 PM
we'll see most likely the cowboyw will have a better because of the shitty NFC.. less competition. There soo many more teams in the afc that are solid teams. u should make the playoffs in the nfc every season

I would say this year that the nfc isnt really overmatched by the afc like in years past. alot more good nfc teams and afc teams are getting worse every year. As far as Brett joining the jets. WOOOOOOOOWWW Dude came out of retirement to join the jets. Im assuming they probably got some sort of 3 year plan going b/c by year 3 im thinking brett is gonna finally retire and the jets should have built a good deep playoff contender around him. That the only thing i can think of for brett allowing that trade. Or they trade him to the vikings for someone else. lol that would piss the packers off. But they may have put a clause in the trade that they cant do that idk but i dont get this move by Favre

M.TYSON
08-07-2008, 03:46 PM
they cant trade to vikings. its in the trade agreement that if the jets trade brett to any team in the nfc north the jets will have to give the packers 3 1st roundd picks aint happenin

ExXz
08-07-2008, 06:53 PM
yeah see i havent read up on all the stipulations and shit with the trade agreement so i wasnt for sure. Oh and on paper yes the cowboys look to have the better season but this is real life and not paper. Brett could be the man for the jets and take them to the playoffs and lets so some crucial ppl for the cowboys get hurt. Thats all it takes. So on paper the cowboys will have a better season. But when the end of the season actually gets here then we will find out the answer

08-07-2008, 07:21 PM
the only way the jets are having a winning season is if brett favres calls up tom brady and asks them how to cheat without getting caught..lol

nah.. ur right about that tho.. on paper cowboys should go undefeated really.. but its real life like u said.. it dont happen like that

M.TYSON
08-07-2008, 07:47 PM
lol too funny thats all im gonna say. im just gonna let the season speak for it self cause there are too many haters or somethin.. jets gonna do finme watch double digit wins easily but its ok I wont say anymore

whats funny? no1 said anything false or made any uneducated predictions... no1 hates the jets.. we just know they arent a good team.. and if brett favre can play god and turn that franchise around then dammit.. brett favre is the man

I just heard that vegas at the beginning of this year gave the jets a 75-1 chance to win the super bowl. Now since they got brett vegas now gives them a 15-1 chance. Huge difference. You know the Jets will be better this year b/c of Brett. I mean someone like Brett is gonna make the running game better b/c the running lanes are gonna be more open. Safeties cant walk up to the line all the time now and Thomas Jones will probably have the season that they expected him to have last year. The offense will be better to go with a pretty good defense. They could be a wild card contender this year.

you are a jets fan... saying anything other than they are great angers you... its ok... brett favre can not single handedly turn that franchise into a great one... he wont make it to the superbowl with them... and then he'll retire and theyll be more screwed cuz they wont know who their quartback will be.. then he'll unretire... and the jets will tell him we are going with our rookie so brett will cry like a girl because he cant accept the fact that the NFL is no longer about passion... its all about winning and money.. which makes sense.. its a job... he'll be traded to the bucs.. because they wont have a QB cuz garcia will retire @ the same time.. and the cycle repeats until favres dies at the age of 50 for killing himself due to depression..

I just wonder if the Madden Curse will come into play now lol. I don't hate the jets why would I hate a mediocre team?

M.TYSON
08-08-2008, 06:15 AM
I believe my mediocre 4-12 team beat your 10-6 team last year if i'm not mistaked..lol and i dont think the curse will follow to a diff team but who knows. some people probably hopin for it tho.

oh yeah by no means am i a jets fan. Im a KC Chiefs man all the way. But its dumb to say your team is gonna be awesome just b/c they're your team. I expect the chiefs to be one of the worst in the league again and then i hope Herm Edwards gets fired after that and then with a miracle Carl Peterson is fucking toast to. Brett isnt gonna be the one cure fix for the jets. They most likely aint going to the super bowl this coming season. But he does make the team a lot better. B/c of him the offense is 3 times better. In turn when your offense is good your defense is good b/c it stays off the field. When your team is winning your defense can afford to take more risks and maybe blitz more or whatever. Just b/c of Brett the jets are a whole new team. And if not next year then by his third year (im assuming he is gonna stay that long) they should have a super bowl contender. Thats just my opinion b/c i dont really see brett declining in skills even by his third year with the jets.

Hmm.. Unless he signed a new contract after the trade, his contract ends after the 2010 season, I beelieve. I've already been talking to hunter about this, but if favre doesn't get hit bad, he should be able to play longer than testeverde has. Really the only thing or reason why he would retire after this year, would be in my opinion, the media pressure of New York. Remember, he's coming from Green Bay. The media coverage is going to be A LOT more in NY than GB. The other thing that I could possibly think of, are the fans heckling him and booing him to quiting. He's leaving a great legacy to try and prove himself in a NEW surrounding where he has never been accustomed how much media attention he will be receiving there. Tyson, wanna buy my favre jersey for 10 bucks?? only worn once, to the Oakland/GB game this past year. Speaking of jerseys, I wonder if favre will be in Lambeau for the monday night game that green bay is reportedly going to retire his number??? interesting..very interesting......

Favre has always been great with handling media. I mean has been in movies and been on tv shows and shit and the way he handles david letterman and jay leno i have no doubt he will be fine. He might have played in green bay but does play games in other cities where the media attention is worse and the fans are worse. He has always done fine. Brett has always been someone who doesnt let things get to him very easy and i dont think he will have a problem with new york

i saw jets schedule.. they could manage a 9-7 record.. if things go perfect.. they have one of the easiest schedules with their toughest opponent being within their own division.. and out side of it.. the chargers and broncos only real threat..
