Things not looking forward to in SOCOM: Confrontation

The whole idea of armor is a bad idea. Not only do I think everyones should have the same amount of health, I also don't want another thing for people to bitch about. Like Juggernaut in Cod4, I believe armor will be a major issue for Socom fans. I realize the more armor you are wearing the slower you will be but I believe that isn't enough. I believe this just encourages people to to camp more.

armor will suck. but in rainbow six ppl really didnt complain about armor all that much. it really didnt make that much difference in a gunfight. I know that is rb6 but socom shouldnt be too far off with it. People want realism in todays games and companies are giving you realism. they wear armor in real life so you get what you ask for

yeah fun factor is the main thing but like i said if its anything like rb6 armor shouldnt be that big of a deal. really what i dotn get tho. if someone else has it. you can use it. or is it not the cool thing to do. i dont give a fuck. why do people bitch about this stuff when they can use it to. i never bitched about juggernaut in cod for one i didnt think it was that big of a deal b/c i still killed dudes with it. and 2 i could use it. its just stupid that people bitch about shit in games that they can easily use.

and realism is kind of important to me. I dont like fake ass sci fi shooters. I like realistic stuff. I want my guy to shoot and move and carry real shit like real soldiers would. just more exciting when you are a soldier in the military and you look and move exactly like a real life soldier would look like

One thing that the devs made clear was a head shot was a head shot. So armor or no armor, if you got game, hitem in the head and they become dead. I plan on going medium to no armor, same as I went in RB6V. But that doesnt mean Borns point is not valid. Every Socom has campers, and maybe this one will have more than the previous becouse of armor. Time will tell. Either way most campers are noobs, so a good player can always remedy what a noob throws at them.

i just dont think the armor will be that big of a deal once ppl start playing it. The only ppl that will really bitch the most is the gb nerds and e nerds that say it isnt cool to use armor like they have in every socom when they bitch about f90's and m14's and stg's and whatever else. grow the fuck up and play the game. if you played rb6v then you'll see that armor really didnt make that much of a difference. ppl in rb6 would use no armor and still own in gun fights. personally i think companies throw it in so you can have more to customize your character with so it makes you feel like you have more shit to mess around with on your guy.

hm.. i use to feel the same way...

then after s3 came out... i went back to s2 for a while.. the m14 was so easy to use it didnt matter if the other team had it or not.. if ur good.. and u use a 14.. its easier to get kills with than the 203... the only evidence i have to support my argument is that my first game back to s2 after a couple months.. i used that silly m14 and went 26-4 playing against the so-called new leaders of foxhunt..

i believe its more of a socom pride thing to not use it.. i personally dont like using the strongest automatic available cuz it makes me feel like im a noob.lol idk sounds dumb but true..and when some random kid that you KNOW isnt good.. kills u with a lucky headshot pray from m14.. it just adds to the reason me and others complain about the silly weapon..

WeLL i waved the 14 like a lightsabre so i dont care who says what...Cause the 14 touched all ur lips one time or another...And the only ones i would hear complain is when i would kill that person so much they would just throw there controller in such anger they wished they got a warrenty from game stop...U all love it...And i hope they got the 14 in S4 and its not fucking cheesy like it is in CoD...But most likely i will use the Hk Mp5....Cause thats my new baby...Muah bitches...And light armor will be for me with light guns and a silencer...So camp all day it does not work for the people in CoD4 cause i still run outta nowhere and put 6 in ya:camper::muffy:

i think armor would be tight its probably for looks so you can customize it like how you do on fucking MGS...but if its armor to protect you then it should slow your movement if you pick the strongest ones and i can see the campers and snipers using it now....plus you never know we all might use the armor for strategy

i mean a gun is a gun. if you used the m14 and get mad kills all the time. its b/c you are a good player. honestly everyone has their opinions about everything and thats that. alls i know is i played with bloodman from sRL and tS everyday in socom 2 and all he ever used was m14. then in socom 3 he used f90 all the time and next thing you know everyone is using it and he is in top clans. go figure

the whole thing about armor now that we are on the topic is the people who will be wearing heavy armor will not be people who are moving so slowing them down does not mean shit, they are going to be the kids hiding in the bushes or around a corner. im not to worried about it after a week everyone will know where to grenade to clear those pussys out

i likie blood i've known him for a while now but from my experience on socom the only guys that will be sitting in bushes with heavy armor are the guys i rarely ever see and the little bit i do see them they get voted out and im usually in a good clan on gb so i rarely play clans bad enough to have guys like that. Armor will not be that big of a deal you guys are putting to much into this.
