there is still open/proximity mic (not only your team but the other team can hear you in certain ranges), you CANNOT get rank unless you use OPTIMATCH so no more player made or foxhunt rooms to play in that you can play with people you actually want to and gain rank (open mic and optimatch only for rank i think will severly damage the community and some clans also.........FUNCTIONAL BODY ARMOR is in the game light medium and heavy........ and thats just a start

If the biggest complaint about socom is the ranking system, we will be in good shape :)

thats definately what i will do but....i want to get rank while i do it i mean why not....also its thought that you will unlock items to customize your guy that way and that is something that i will want for sure......i just think thats dumb to force us to use optimatch thast not socom to me.....its always been a bad ass lobby system that kept friends, clans, and the community tight i will be sad to see it go, open mic i cant stand in any way shape or form....and you know some people are already hard enough to kill and with body armor.....ugh its depressing LOL

the developer said even with the heavy body armor people will still take less hits then they do on s3/ca. They also said a headshot is automatic death no matter from what range.
