Recording Help

I play on my cpu monitor using a VGA cord.
Is there anyway I can record to make montages?


I have a capture card but i dont think i can use that.

Most people use capture cards to make montages. I have used a dvd burner in the past and transfered it on my pc. I suggest finding a decent capture card on ebay,

I have a capture card, but I cant use it when im playing on my PC Monitor.

I dont play on a normal TV.

i dont know how you would go about doing that then with the PC monitor. You cant just setup a tv for when you want to record?
